Our annual Pet Day is held late in term three. 

A variety of pets, from lizards to lambs, come along for a school visit. Community members are invited to judge entry categories that include pets, pet diaries, baking, craft, sand saucers, models, etc. 

After a shared BBQ lunch, parents and community members join in the egg & spoon, sack and three-legged races before everyone tries to break the current Makikihi School ‘Gumboot Throw’ record.
